“the desert pack was designed for longer, heavier hauls. it has a tad more internal volume than the v2 to accommodate for long carries and shoulder season conditions, perfect for normal thru-hikes. the adjustable side pockets are roomier and easily fit two water bottles. it includes a stashable hipbelt, designated stake pocket, and stretchy bottom and shoulder strap pockets.”
