The Exoframe is a lightweight and portable chair frame designed for minimalist camping enthusiasts. Weighing only 165g, it combines portability with stability, making it an essential piece of gear for outdoor adventures.

When camping, besides walking and lying down, sitting is the most common way to rest. A lightweight and comfortable chair is essential for lightweight camping enthusiasts. Many people, including the owner himself, like to sit directly on the ground because it is a special enjoyment to feel the touch of the earth. But over time we have become more aware of the importance of back support. An experience of camping with friends inspired us to design a product that combines the natural feel of the ground with the support of the backrest, which eventually led to The Exoframe.

The Exoframe adopts a cross-leg structure with aluminum alloy fasteners to provide stable support and effectively prevent left and right shaking. The lever pull rope structure and high-strength polyethylene rope design not only firmly supports the front end of the chair fabric, but also significantly reduces the weight. The whole device weighs only 165g, and the storage size is Φ38mm x 36cm. It is compact and portable. It is made of materials such as carbon fiber, aluminum alloy and Saigang. The tested load-bearing capacity is up to 100kg, which is enough to meet most usage scenarios.

After many tests, we determined that a 65-degree inclination angle is the best design, which can effectively support the backrest pressure while maintaining stability. The bracket is compatible with a variety of chair fabrics. For example, when paired with Chair Zero, the total weight is only 288g, making it an ideal choice for those seeking extreme lightweight. It also performs equally well when paired with Chair One or Ground Chair. We are also continuously testing the compatibility of more chair fabrics and will update the results to the official website.

The Exoframe is suitable for a variety of terrain environments. It can be used directly on the grass; on smooth ground, it is recommended to install foot covers to improve friction; on soft terrain, an anti-sinking ball can be installed to prevent the bracket from sinking into the ground, further improving stability and user experience.
