A break-resistant coffee server with a history of "innovation"

Ake-bono Sangyo, based in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, renowned for its Western-style tableware, continues to create innovative plastic kitchenware.
When I visited their factory, I was struck by the neat and tidy production lines, and the efforts evident everywhere to enable small-batch, multi-product manufacturing.

What particularly impressed me was their ability to handle everything in-house, from mold making to molding.
This self-sufficient production model, which prioritizes sustainability, flexibility in product development, and thorough quality control, is truly a model for manufacturing.

Behind this lies the story of founder Jiro Oyama, who, believing that "trials are also blessings," fought through the post-war chaos to lay the foundation of the company.

The techniques and passion cultivated during those challenging times continue to this day, driving innovative craftsmanship.

This "coffee server" is a testament to those efforts.
Its conical design highlights the appeal of highly transparent "Tritan," but this shape is actually impossible to achieve with conventional resin molding methods.
When I asked about the manufacturing method, the technician casually replied, "We mold the top and bottom separately in one mold, then weld them inside the mold."
This special technique, called "DSI molding," is said to be exclusively performed by Ake-bono Sangyo in Japan.

This time, we specifically requested a clear black version.
This is a collaboration between Ake-bono Sangyo and FEDECA, creating a coffee server that surpasses glass.
Holding this product, you can feel the history and soul of Ake-bono Sangyo.
