Durston Gear officially launches in Hong Kong - Nothingblue. A superstar in the tent industry, Durston was founded in 2018 by Dan Durston. Its unique design has won numerous awards and is highly sought after by ultralight users worldwide. Its presence can be seen on major trails like the PCT and GDT. Basically, every new model released sells out quickly. Nothingblue is honored to be a part of this and to be the first to introduce the X-Mid Pro 1 / X-Mid Pro 2. Both X-Mid Pro1/2 are the lightest DCF versions. The Pro Series tents are already sold out in the US, but a restock is imminent, with the next batch expected to arrive in mid-to-late November, just in time for the season! Based on the store manager's extensive experience, the X-Mid Pro 1 is arguably the best single-person DCF tent I've ever used, offering the most spacious feel and being the lightest in its class. If you're planning on solo camping, overseas backpacking, and have ultralight needs, you can choose the Pro 1, which is just over a pound (plus 10g!). For two people, the Pro 2 is an option, weighing only about 100g more.

Brief introduction to X-Mid Pro 1 / Pro 2:
The most unique feature of Durston's X-Mid is its extremely large interior space. Thanks to its geometric design at the base, it can achieve a very light weight (Pro 1 - 465g / Pro 2 - 555g) while offering a huge interior space (Pro 1 - 90” x 32” / Pro 2 - 90” x 48”). After placing a standard 183cm long sleeping pad, there is still room at the head and foot for backpacks and other items. Its wind and rain resistance are also excellent. In addition to using high-strength waterproof DCF fabric, the tent's four sides are extended to block rain. When faced with wind and snow, the X-Mid's geometric design can effectively shed wind and accumulated snow. The X-Mid only requires 4 stakes to set up, and there are additional guy-out points for extra stability if desired.

One of its most notable features is its vestibule. Both the Pro 1 and Pro 2 have a dual-door design. Due to their geometric, angled design, when the doors are raised, the entire front space can be used without obstruction. Of course, you can also use extra branches or trekking poles to prop up the doors to create a small awning, so the usable space of its vestibule is very large. The pack size is also extremely small, only 4.5” x 10”. Note: The X-Mid requires a pair of trekking poles / 1.25m long supports for set up.
