1. The third set of legs is slowly lowered along the shell track. The advantage is that the table shell and the third set of legs are formed as an integrated structural surface, instead of the body being formed separately.

2. The third set of legs slowly rises up along the shell track until it is locked, replacing the pin positioning. This is a safety design that prevents the shell track from sliding out.
